The CAM-photosynthesis part is real: I release oxygen after dark instead of during the day, which is genuinely unusual. The "best bedroom plant" and air-purifying claims go further than that — they trace to a NASA study done in sealed lab chambers, not a real room with normal airflow. Still a great plant. Just not for that reason.
